1/22 Study day for the exams

1/20 LAST DAY OF IE CORE
Thank you all so much!!! I have enjoyed my first year because of you guys!!!!!!
Today was the last day of IE Core class!
I'm going to miss this class because the teacher, Mr.Richardson are soooooo nice teacher!!!

1/19 Last Letter to Tom
Today was the last day of IE writing class!!
We did BYO party!!! BRING YOUR OWN PARTY!!
We ate lots and lots and lots....omg lol
and talked!!!
girls talk was so much fun that Mr. hiromasa seemed to surprised at us.lol
Im so looking forward to seeing u guys on 3rd Jan!! the IE class party!!

It was "coming of age day" on Monday. Seijin no hi in Japanese.
Yes! I'm 20 years old now!
That day, I woke up at 5 o'clock to get ready.
I went to a hair dresser to have my hair done and to wear "Hurisode"(looks like a kimono).
It was so early to wake up for me but I was so excited to see my old friends who I haven't seen for a long time.
There were so many 20-year-old people in Chiba port hall.
Men were wearung suits or "hakama", and women were wearing "hurisode".
I had a lot of fun at there.
At night I had an alumni association of junior high school.
There were my old teacher too!!!
Do you have like alumni association often?
I thought it is important to meet many people and old friends to share or talk about memories.

1/18 Thinking day
I was so sad because of what one of my friend of boy (not bf) said to me.
What he said made me so sad and cry.
He said that he is gonna break up our friendship and not gonna meet or talk.
He wanted to go out with me, but I couldn't. I don't feel like going out with somebody now. I think it is because of what I experienced with my ex boyfriend.
So, I refused it feeling sorry to him.
I and he were good friends before. I really like him and respect his way of living.
I was thinking that i wanna be one of his good friends.
So, his thinking made me so sad.
I dont like when people dislike me and leave me.
ughhhh i dont really know what i was wanting to say. hahaha-
.......i think im gonna go to bed. bye for today

1/13 Still Coming Of Age Day
I had a lots of fun yesterday to meet my friends whom I haven't seen for a long time, like for 5 - 8 years.
All of my friends seem to be grown up a lot compared to the last time that i saw them.
Many women changed to be beautiful I thought!!!!
I was so amazed by one of my friends, Natsuki!!!

She said "Today is not the coming of age day but the costume party day in the style of coming of age day!!!!"
What a ...... lol I laughed so hard. lol
After the ceremony, I went to the alumni of my junior high school.
We did this party in a hotel, so that the dishes were so rich and so delicious!!!!
yummmmmmmmm!!!! I wish you guys were there too!!! haha
I could see my old teacher he is my favorite of junior high school days.
he used to teach social studies!!
when i was a junior high school student, i like this teacher, but I could not like the social studies at all. lol
I made him worry sometimes. haha
I took many pictures here too!!
they were organizers of this alumni.
We did bingo game!!! The prizes were so luxury!!!! like DS the game boy, and perfumes and Wii the game boy and so on.
My bingo didn't fall on but its ok. haha
After this party, We had a post-party party at a karaoke bar until the next morning!!! lol
We drank a lot and I was so drunk!!!
I couldn't walk as usual. haha
Fun time!!!

Most amazing people of the coming of age day was this girl who wore green sweater!!!!
She was a boy 5 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!
He had changed his sex by sex-change operation.
She was so shining when she sang a song of Ayumi hamasaki.lol
I thought that she is much more girlish than girls who are everywhere.
Alumni became my favorite event in my life!! lol

1/12 Coming Of Age Day
Seijin Shiki is the Japanese coming-of-age ceremony.
It is held annually on Seijin no Hi, the second Monday in January.
Festivities include ceremonies held at local and prefectural offices and parties amongst family and friends to celebrate passage into adulthood.
This day is the Japanese national holiday!!
The age of majority in Japan is 20.
The seijin shiki covers all those who will reach this age during the current school year, which runs between April and the following March. The ceremony is generally held in the morning at local city offices and all young adults who maintain residency in the area are invited to attend.
Government officials give speeches, and small presents are handed out to the new adults.
Many women celebrate this day by wearing a furisode (a style of kimono with long sleeves that drape down). The furisode is made of very fine, brightly colored silk.
Since most are unable to put on a kimono by themselves due to the intricacies involved in putting one on, many choose to visit a beauty salon to dress and to set their hair. Yes, I did too!! I woke up at 5:00 and got ready for going to a beauty salon to get hair done.
I did my nail done too the other day!
A full set of formal clothing is expensive, so it is usually either inherited or rented rather than being bought specially for the occasion. My family bought one for me!! I thought that im a foolish person ever and felt so sorry to my family because the furisode which i wore is soooooo expensive. omg I have never thought that it would be that price.... being able to buy a car.
Anyways, men sometimes also wear traditional dress (dark kimono with hakama).
After the ceremony, (after taking lots and lots of pictures) the young adults often gather in groups and go to parties or go out drinking. yeah

1/11 Can't Wait!!!!
I went to a hair salon today to die roots of my hair!!!
Can't wait until tomorrow!! haha
Nothing really new today so that im gonna write about my dance circle at University of Aoyama.
I belong to a dance circle called NACK.
Nowadays I don't often go to there but I like dancing especially at the performance in front of everyone! I'm always nurvus when I do my performance with my friends though haha.

1/10 Nail day
It was first time for me to decolate my nails at nail salon.
I was amazed at the price!! almost $200!!! omg
But its ok because this time is special!! just for the coming of age day!
After having my nails done, I went back to my home town Chiba by train.
It takes 2 hours to go home!! soooo tired.
But when I turn third year student, I'm gonna finish to stay by myself at Machida, commute to school from my home where my family live.
I'm happy that i'm going to stay with my family because staying by mysel make me so lonely. But, I'm sure that I'm gonna miss my own life in Machida.
THINKING IS NEVER ENDING!!! lol
Anyways, I came back to my home!! I was welcomed by him my lover!!!!

1/9 Shopping at Shinjuku
Where do u often go for shopping??
I always go to Shinjuku! Shinjuku is my favorite place to shop.
There are Marui and Lumine and Isetan etc.
Marui at Shinjuku is now selling things so cheaper than usual because of remodeling!
I bought many things today. happy happy happy!
Shopping is my favorite thing to do to break off my stress.

1/8 Not ready to make nice by Dixie Chicks
Today i had an exam of Aosta!!!
We have to take 4courses of Aosta. It is compulsory subject.
ughhhhh!!! I wanna study what im interested in !!!so bad
anyways yesterday I was stuying for today's exam listening this song " not ready to make nice" by Dixie Chicks

1/7 Study Day
Today I studied Spanish with yuma.
I don't like study ugh....
But I like to study only English since i was in junior high.
I think that people can speak English are so cool.lol
I don't know why but this is my first impression of English.
My friend yuma was studying for exam of secretary.
I think that license of secretary is gonna be a good ability when we have to be interviewed for jobs.
So, I'm going to study secretary when i turn a 2nd year student, because now in 1st year is so busy to take classes and do lots of home works for IE.
I hope that 2nd year student would have more own time to do something in which i interested.

1/5 about myself
Im gonna introduce about myself to you
Do you know Chiba city? Chiba is my home town.
Chiba city has Tokyo Disney Land, Tokyo Disney sea it’s like sea world, and International airport.
So, Chiba city has lots of visitors from all over the world.
I went to Canada to learn to speak English better.
I thought I would like to speak English more and more because I think people can speak English are cool!!
I have learned English in school since I was 12.
I took English just Canadian take French class.
I have belonged to a group in Japan called LABO.
It’s a club we go to once a week after school that helps us learn about English language and culture.
When I was 13 I spent one month in Novascotia.
Before I went to Manitoba, I spent 2 weeks in B.C to learn English for 2weeks.
I stayed at host family’s house.
My host family was only a grand mother. She is 85 years old.
In the morning, she always said to me, “Hi Mariko, Did you have a good sleep??”
Sometimes she forgot many things.
She is so cute.
I wanted to become flight attendant in the future. So, I thought exchange program would be very good for me. But I’m thinking about my job in the future again. Because I don’t want to ride in my plane with snakes. jk lol
Anyway, I will learn English more and I want to have more choices of my job in the future.
I have learned 3 things about my self since I went to Canada.
First, I learned how much I depended on my parents before I went to Canada.
Second, I learned how difficult listening and translating and speaking English all day long every day was.
Sometimes this gave me a headache and I got very tired.
I didn’t guess that would happened.
Third, I have gained weight. So I learned how much I loved Canadian foods!!

Sometimes she forgot many things.
She is so cute.
I wanted to become flight attendant in the future. So, I thought exchange program would be very good for me. But I’m thinking about my job in the future again. Because I don’t want to ride in my plane with snakes. jk lol
Anyway, I will learn English more and I want to have more choices of my job in the future.
I have learned 3 things about my self since I went to Canada.
First, I learned how much I depended on my parents before I went to Canada.
Second, I learned how difficult listening and translating and speaking English all day long every day was.
Sometimes this gave me a headache and I got very tired.
I didn’t guess that would happened.
Third, I have gained weight. So I learned how much I loved Canadian foods!!
My goal is to speak and understand English fluently.

1/4 Maki Nishiyama
nothing really so that I am going to introduce Maki Nishiyama to you.
She is one of famous CanCam model. She is from Niigata-ken!! Same as me!!
I wish I were her...HAHA
Her birthday is 1985.11.16 23years old now!
She was spotted by talent scout when she got lost at Ginza!!lol
Many Japanese girls know her and they are filled with envy at her.
There are so many kind of Girls magazine now such as Cancam, Vivi, Ray, Pinky, etc.
What kind of magazine do you buy and which model do you like??

1/3 New year party!!?? again
I went to an optician to make new glasses.
I haven't make it for a long time like 4 years.
My eyesight getting worse and worse. omg
my old glasses were not fit for my eyes so that I made new one!!
It has red frame. I liked it.
I had nothing to do after that, so I called my friend "ERI" of junior high school days,
and we went shopping together!!
Omg, I love my home town!!!! haha
Eri is my favorite person!!! lol
Her character looks like mine!! yes, her blood type is B!! lol
Anyways, another junior high school friend joined, and we went to Uotami, the bar, to drink.
Drink drink drink.......drink all day. omg
We had a long long talk. I laughed a lot.
I cannot wait until the coming of Age Day!!!!

1/2 New year and Good-by party
Today, I had new year party and good-by party for Chizuru.
Chizuru is one of my best friend at high school days.
This is Chizuru.
I and Chizuru were commuting to school every morning.
We talked over a lot about so many things.
After I decided to do study abroad and talked about it to her , I knew that Chizuru has same dream as mine in the future.
So, we encouraged each other!!
Before I came back from Canada, Chizuru went to the university of Alabama in the U.S.A.

Yes, We had crossed.omg
We have not seen each other for about 3 years, but finally!!,
I could see her again!!
She came back to Japan for the New Year holidays.
I decided to hold a party for her.
Today was the day.
I assembled friends of high school in advance, decided the time, and reserved bar...Hard work!!!!!!
But you know what?? lol
It was first time for me to be an organizer and also my blood tipe is B!!!
BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
B type people is said that egotism, and having own pace!!!! "OWN PACE"!!! lol
so that I was far from a good organizer. OTL omg
I thought that i should never be an organizer for parties and so on. lol
Anyways, the party was over!! lol
