1/5 about myself

Im gonna introduce about myself to you
Do you know Chiba city? Chiba is my home town.
Chiba city has Tokyo Disney Land, Tokyo Disney sea it’s like sea world, and International airport.
So, Chiba city has lots of visitors from all over the world.

I went to Canada to learn to speak English better.
I thought I would like to speak English more and more because I think people can speak English are cool!!
I have learned English in school since I was 12.
I took English just Canadian take French class.
I have belonged to a group in Japan called LABO.

It’s a club we go to once a week after school that helps us learn about English language and culture.

When I was 13 I spent one month in Novascotia.

Before I went to Manitoba, I spent 2 weeks in B.C to learn English for 2weeks.
I stayed at host family’s house.
My host family was only a grand mother. She is 85 years old.
In the morning, she always said to me, “Hi Mariko, Did you have a good sleep??”
Sometimes she forgot many things.
She is so cute.

I wanted to become flight attendant in the future. So, I thought exchange program would be very good for me. But I’m thinking about my job in the future again. Because I don’t want to ride in my plane with snakes. jk lol

Anyway, I will learn English more and I want to have more choices of my job in the future.

I have learned 3 things about my self since I went to Canada.

First, I learned how much I depended on my parents before I went to Canada.

Second, I learned how difficult listening and translating and speaking English all day long every day was.
Sometimes this gave me a headache and I got very tired.
I didn’t guess that would happened.

Third, I have gained weight. So I learned how much I loved Canadian foods!!

My goal is to speak and understand English fluently.
